Oh Kang Woo is the main character of 'Player Who Returned 10,000 Years Later' (Reaperscans) or 'After Ten Millennia in Hell' (Wuxiaworld) (만 년 만에 귀환한 플레이어) .
Appearance[]
A dark-haired young man with sharp, red eyes. He seems to have a well fit body due to the constant battling in Hell. After gaining the Ultimate Demonic Body, his blood became pitch black and his muscles are far more defined due to his muscles tightening. When he uses his full power, he gets: goat horns on his forehead, black sclera with yellow slit pupils, and inky black wings on his back made out of demonic energy.
Personality[]
Before falling through a gate into hell, Kang Woo was seemingly a normal human being without anything notable about his personality. He was a loner due to having grown up an orphan with no true family and didn't have any close friends. Although he would later lament his loneliness and isolation when remembering it in the present, his nature as a loner and having to only rely on himself was one of the reasons he was able to survive in hell and rise to the top.
Once in hell, he was among the weakest of beings and had to initially rely purely on wits and cunning. He became very calculative and pragmatic while doing whatever it took to survive. However, while his personality grew darker as he grew stronger and slowly became a demon, he was never corrupted into a creature of pure malice or evil. Ironically, this was likely due to the fact that, aside from him, there were no innocent creatures in hell and thus he never had to perform any truly heinous or irredeemable acts, at least by human standards, in order to survive.
By the time he returned to earth, his outlook while not inherently malicious was extremely amoral. Though he would not harm people for no reason, he could be absolutely monstrous to those who crossed him or those he cared about. He also would not, as a rule, perform actions out of altruism or nobility and even looked down on those that held a do-gooder mindset. However, while he found acting like a do-gooder to be distasteful, he could respect people who were genuinely decent and had noble intentions.
Conversely, he hates people who are prideful to the point of narcissism and stupidity, as it clashes harshly with the pragmatism and no-nonsense attitude he had to adopt to survive in hell. He is also disdainful and harsh towards hypocrisy and hypocrites. While he was fighting the heroes from the Continent of Aernor, he mocked them for acting like heroes when they attacked his familiar Echidna on an assumption of wrongdoing with no proof and then begging for mercy when he had all but defeated them claiming they would not have shown him the same mercy if the roles were reversed.
Background[]
Kang Woo was an orphan with no friends or family. He was forced to leave the orphanage at 18 and struggled to get by day-to-day in the past. He spent most of his time in his home and reading novels and manhwa as entertainment. Later it was revealed that he was a vessel created by the Demon God(Bauli) to contain Himself(Bauli) until the Demon sea is fully formed.

Basic abilities[]
- Demonic Augmentation: By applying demonic energy throughout his body, he can augment his physical prowess. His augmentation is directly proportional to how good his control is and how much demonic energy he has. This is one of the most basic usage of demonic energy that Oh Kangwoo wields and one that he almost always uses in combat, though it still costs demonic energy to keep it up.
- System prowess: Oh Kangwoo utilizes the gaia system to increase his own stats rapidly. Due to his usage of the Authority of Predation, he is able to grow his stats monstrously and quickly. With the system, Oh Kangwoo can decrease the amount of demonic energy he puts into augmenting himself due to his natural physique growing stronger by itself.
- Strength - The strength stat is focused on how high is Kangwoo's physical strength.
- Dexterity - The dexterity stat is focused on how fast is Kangwoo's speed/agility.
- Health - The health stat is focused on how high is Kangwoo's stamina/endurance.
- Mana - The mana stat is focused on how much mana Kangwoo has, though he doesn't have any mana since he uses demonic energy.

- Demon Physiology: Due to becoming a demon, he gains certain benefits that humans wouldn't otherwise have. He doesn't need to eat, drink, or sleep; but he still likes to do these activities. His body is also much tougher due to his Ultimate Demonic Body. However, he has an unquenching desire due to his demon physiology and this desire comes in the form of Kimchi Jigae.
Abilities[]
- Ten Thousand Demon Core: It is where all his demonic energy, corpses, souls, Authorities etc are stored. It is split into three parts, the Shallow End, Deep End and the Abyss, with the Abyss carrying the true power of the primordial darkness (the Demon God Bauli used to lie in the Abyss). 666 Authorities are stored inside the core (+5 more authorities added). This was put in place to keep the true power of the Demonic Sea from running rampant, with 3 doors in each of the 3 parts of the core to keep the true power at bay. By opening a door, Oh Kangwoo can forcefully release a small portion of the Demonic Sea and use it. Downside is that the longer he keeps it open, the more he'll lose consciousness and let the Demonic Sea loose. Furthermore, the deeper the door is in the parts, the more likely he'll loose consciousness.

- Authority of Predation: Kang Woo's own authority that allows him to devour the stats, information, and authorities from a being's corpse and its soul (The soul would be ripped apart and lost forever).
- Authority of Blades: Authority the demon Sabnak previously owned. It was an ability that summoned a sword from the body.
- After absorbing the Demonic Sea, the blades can cut through space.
- Authority of the Sky: An ability that allowed one to defy the law of inertia, which stimulates flight.
- Authority of Haste: A ability that the demon Valefar used. which grants the user an incredible amount of speed.
- Authority of Blindness: Authority that belonged to the demon Dantalion, it would make the consciousness of the person you're talking to become clouded and resulting in a temporary decrease in awareness.
- Authority of Fear: The person to whom this power of Orobas is applied becomes afraid and turns into a puppet that won’t resist even in his thoughts.
- Authority of Rage: A power that belonged to a demon named Crocell. Crocell used this power to provoke his own rage, thus giving himself more power.
- Authority of Silence: The ability to silence all necessary sounds.
- Authority of Hellfire: An authority that belonged to a demon named Andras. Creates a fire which burns away the target's life and cannot be extinguished without the use of demonic energy or mana.
- Authority of Sonority: It allowed every movement to be so loud that you would want to be deaf to avoid hearing those sounds. It can be used to bust the eardrums of the person who hears it.
- Authority of the Beholder: Allowed the user to search for a target within a range and have the information instantly flow into one’s mind and can also be used to see other people's status windows. Belonged to the demon Astaroth.
- Authority of Invulnerability: Covers the body of the user with Demonic energy, essentially creating armor from demonic energy.
- Authority of Dark Spear: Authority of the Demon Raum. This Authority allowed one to manifest dark spears.
- Authority of Pitfalls: Allows one to shape the ground.
- Authority of Shadows: Allows one to expand their shadow and appear where the shadow has moved.
- Authority of Waves: Allows one to create waves, can be used on a person to rupture their organs.
- Authority of Titanic Might: The Authority of the demon Baphomet. This Authority grants the user an incredible amount of strength.
- Authority of Subordination: Allowed one to turn a target into one's familiar.
- Familiar can use a portion of their master's power.
- Familiar cannot disobey their master.
- Target has to be weaker than the caster to turn into a familiar.
- Familiar will feel and think positively about their master.
- If target submits to the caster, the chances of this authority succeeding is greatly increased.
- Authority of Temptation: Causes the target to seem, smell etc unbelievably delicious which attracts many beasts reliant on instinct.
- Authority of Language: Allows one to communicate with others without being affected by the language one speaks.
- Authority of Regeneration: By using one's blood, one can heal other's or their own wounds.
- Authority of Explosion: Black smoke forms a sphere which can cause explosions.
- Authority of Shattering Air: Compresses demonic energy that can be shot at a person.
- Authority of Electricity: Allows one to create and conduct electricity.
- Authority of Restraint: This authority allows the user to create chains using demonic energy that will restrain the target tightly to where they are unable to move and it gives the user free control to move the chain to their wishes.
- Authority of Projection: Allowed one to cause the targeted object or person to melt into the background (become unnoticeable).
- Authority of Cloning: It was an authority that let him create another version of himself that shared his consciousness. It required so much demonic energy that he couldn't use it yet despite having achieved his Sixth Awakening. The clone can only do basic things such as eating and talking.
- Authority of Invigoration: Allows one to stay in a constant state of happiness without being able to become bored of something and/or someone.
- Authority of Vitality: Allows the user to spread demonic energy to fill people to the brim with energy and power.
- Authority of Decay: Allows the user to cause the targeted object to speed up or slow down in the process of decay.
- Authority of Freezing: Allows user to create extremely low temperatures to freeze ice, it can also create and manipulate the ice.
- Authority of Spallation: A destructive Authority that destroyed armor and tore apart skin, generally used to enhance the piercing capability of weapons.
- Authority of Iron Axes: Allows one to condense demonic energy to form black axes.
- Authority of Sealing: Belonged to the demon Amdusias. It allows the user to seal away the target’s power but the user has to be in contact with the target.

- Authority of Slashing: Allows the user’s to become more proficient with slashing movements.
- Authority of Dolls: Allows user to create a fake body.
- Authority of Storms: Allowed the user to control and create storms.
- Authority of Transformation: Allows the user to change the shape/state of an object.
- Authority of Stealth: Unlike the Authority of Projection, which makes the target seem apart of the background, Authority of Stealth Conceals the user's presence.
- Authority of Insight: Allows the user to analyze things (e.g. magic circles) quickly.
- Authority of Protection: This Authority checked the changes in the target's body in real-time and created a powerful barrier depending on the situation. It, unfortunately, continuously consumes demonic energy.
- Authority of Pulverization: Allows user to pulverize anything despite the sturdiness of the target or material.
- Authority of Focus: This ability reduced pain and raised one's focus, kind of like a stimulant. Unlike the Authority of Rage, it was a buff-type Authority that only benefited the target.
- Authority of the Watcher: It summons a translucent sphere which can be used to see through walls and scout certain areas.
- Authority of Collapse: An ability which makes objects it touches to collapse and fall apart.
- Authority of Blaze: An ability that belonged to Mammon, Prince of Inferno. It was the most powerful and destructive Authority which allowed complete controlled over fire.
- Authority of Coloring: A simple Authority that changed the colors of objects.
- Authority of Extinction: This Authority originally belonged to Satan. It turns anything it touches into shreds.
- Authority of Stillness: This Authority belongs to the the Prince of Sloth- Belphegor. It could drastically slow down the time in a certain area but it could only drastically slow time in areas within his field of vision.
- Authority of Resistance: Allows one to resist effects from spells, magic circles etc.
- Authority of Immobility: Stops target from being able to move or be moved.
- Authority of Enhancement: Fills one with energy and improves one’s condition to be ideal for combat.
- Authority of Transparency: Allows the user to see through objects as if they were transparent.
- Authority of Memory: Authority that allows Oh Kang Woo to erase memories.
- Authority of Gates: Authority allowing user to create dimensional cracks, gates and dungeons in those gates.
- Authority of Truth: Authority to force target to say the truth without using a mind controlling authority.

- Authority of Domination: Authority that allows one to forcefully control the mind of his opponent.
Primordial Darkness[]
During the creation of the universe, light and darkness were the ones to create the titans, who in turn created everything else. The light and darkness were eventually split up to be hidden across the universe. The Primordial Light would be gained by Akart, the titan of light. While the primordial darkness would be split up into two parts, the Black Sky and the Demonic Sea. The Black Sky would be hidden in an alien world, where it wouldn't be found until Oh Kangwoo searched for it after his battle with Akart. And the Demonic Sea would be found by Bauli, the Demon God, where he would craft the Ten Thousand Demon Core to safely store all the demonic energy, but it would be devoured by Oh Kangwoo.
- Demonic Sea: It is the first primordial power Oh Kangwoo gains and finds in hell. The Demonic Sea carries nigh-infinite amounts of demonic energy and can devour the entire universe if it is left unchecked. The Demonic Sea would be found by Bauli, after his defeat, and he would make the Ten Thousand Demon Core to safely utilize the sea. It would eventually be found and completed by Oh Kangwoo, who would then devour the entire Demonic sea for three years to become one with it. This is one of the two primordial darknesses, born in the beginning of everything.
- Black Sky: This is the second primordial power that Oh Kangwoo became one with, after his battle with Akart, the titan of primordial light. It is unknown how he became one with it, though it is likely that he devoured all the dark power like with the Demonic Sea. The Black Sky is very similar to the Demonic sea, in that it has nigh-infinite amounts of power in it. Whereas the Demonic sea has vast amounts of demonic energy, the Black Sky has vast amounts of dark/shadow power that was born in the beginning of the universe and is the second half of the primordial darkness.
Other Abilities[]
- Mimicry: The unique ability of the 'Mimicry of the Shades' species, from the satellite world of Triad called Shade, which allows you to change your appearance into that of a different being for a limited amount time.
- Flames of Voracity: A fire that devours absolutely everything and can burn an entire planet. A flame that was conceived through the combination of all 666 authorities, the flame is a greedy power that indiscriminately eats everything it touches and can nullify all forms of power. After combining with Chaos, the flame can also burn away Divinity. This fire specifically doesn't burn, but devours like a sharp mouth. This flame burns a golden and black light. (Integrated with Chaos - Blaze).
- Soul Speech: Soul Speech allowed one to speak words imbued with power, invoking miracles that defied the laws of physics.
- Demonic Wings: After suppressing the Flame of Voracity in the Ten Thousand Demon Core, Oh Kangwoo can condense demonic power in the shape of wings that increases his control of the Flame of Voracity.
- Acidic Bodily Fluid: After killing the King of Parasites, Oh Kang woo can give his blood acidic properties to burn opponents who cut him.
- Tentacle summoning: After killing the King of Parasites, Oh Kang woo can summon tentacles from any part of his body and even mix them with his acidic blood to make them more dangerous. Though it should be noted that he renounced this skill from ever using it.
- Insect Control: After killing the King of Parasites, Oh Kangwoo can freely control the actions of insects and parasites led by the King of Parasites.
- Infinite Demonic energy and Dark power: After absorbing the entire Demonic Sea and the Black Sky, Oh Kang woo has an endless supply of Demonic Energy and Dark power to draw upon.
- Immortal Body: After opening the third door and absorbing the entire demonic sea, Oh Kang woo became completely made up of demonic energy that cannot ever die by reforming any and all injuries without issue. Unfortunately for Oh Kangwoo, this means he can't get drunk or anything else of the sort due to his flesh being that of demonic energy now.
- Immense Strength: Kang woo can destroy networks of planets and fight against titans. He is able to cut mountains in half with ease and he stopped a direct punch from bauli, the demon god, with only one hand. If it ever fancied him, he could simply destroy the earth just by punching it. He has even been shown to fight against Akart with only the Demonic Sea, as he didn't have the Black Sky yet.
- Immense Speed: Kang woo can jump into space off ground in an instant, shake the earth with just his speed, move fast enough to be compared to teleporting, and create sonic booms instantly. He can even match Akart in speed, despite the titan being able to move as fast as light itself.
- Infinite Durability: Kang woo can be obliterated, but still come back into a fight. He has survived catastrophies and even been completely annihilated, and he just shrugs it off.
- Abyss Summoning: Kang woo can summon all the demons he has absorbed and use them as his soldiers. Additionally, the summoned demons gain the immortal properties of Oh Kang woo, except for when a demon is killed by the light of the titan, Akart. The summoned demons lose their bloodlust, but can be given strength by Oh Kang woo himself.
- Fluid Escape: Oh Kang woo can separate his soul from his body and move freely. In the soul state, Oh Kang woo can penetrate matter, but can't exert physical force. Oh Kang woo can also enter non-material dimensions such as the spirit world or astral world. However, Oh Kang woo is susceptible to spirit based attacks.
- Usurper of Fire: Oh Kangwoo can condense 'flame' attribute techniques into a weapon and explode it. However, the more it is condensed, the durability of the weapon decreases dramtically. Oh Kangwoo often pairs this power up with the Flame of Voracity and his sword, Midir.

- First Awakening Trait: Authority of Predation (Rank:???): The Authority of Predation allows Kang Woo to absorb powers and information (body features, habits, lifestyle, weaknesses etc) from the bodies he devoured.
- Second Awakening Trait: Insatiable Hunger (Rank: C): The Player can absorb even more Demonic Energy from a target using Authority of Predation.
- Third Awakening Trait: Mana-Hungry Demon (Rank: A): The Player can convert the mana within mana stones into demonic energy and absorb it.
- Fourth Awakening Trait: Ruler of Demonic Energy (Rank: A->SSS): The Player can use demonic energy faster and more naturally, and can also completely conceal it from others.
- Fifth Awakening Trait: Demonic Beast Summoning (Rank: S): The Player can summon demonic beasts from another dimension. The power of the summoned demonic beast will depend on the amount of demonic energy used for the summoning.
- The summoned demonic beast will recognize you as its master.
- You can summon one demonic beast every three months.
- Sixth Awakening Trait: Demonic Art of Creation (Rank: SS): The Player can create equipment infused with the power of Authorities. The more Authorities that are used simultaneously during the crafting process, the greater the power that the crafted equipment will possess. However, to create equipment of the Mythic grade and above, a material of the same grade is required.
- The number of equipment that can be crafted with Demonic Art of Creation is one. The previously crafted equipment will be destroyed if any more is crafted.
- Seventh Awakening Trait: Reaper of Souls (Rank: SS): This is a Trait linked to 'Authority of Predation'. The player can absorb demon's souls and raise the 'quality' of their soul. The stronger the demon whose soul you absorb, the larger the effect.
- Eighth Awakening Trait: Prince Slayer (Rank: SS): The Player can use the Authorities of the seven princes of Hell through their souls.
- Ninth Awakening Trait: Chaos Control (Rank:??): This Trait raises the control and destructive power of the Player’s Chaos techniques.
- Tenth Awakening Trait: Usurpation of Deific Essence(Rank:???): As per the Trait, you can obtain a portion of the Deific Essence you absorb.

Road to Becoming a Demon God - Side Quest[]

Demon God's piece's[]
In the beginning, there was chaos and within that chaos, light and darkness were born. Titans were born from that light and darkness. Gaia, gods, humans, angels, and demons were the creations of titans. One of those Titans was the Demon God Bauli, he possessed unending resentment for all creations made by Titans.
He gathered a group consisting of Rakiel and the Constellations of fear to aid in his quest to destroy all of creation, but the Celestial Goddess Seraph, Lady Gaia, and the Heavenly Dragon joined forces and managed to subdue the demon god. They then divided the demon god's corpse into three pieces and placed each piece in a different world: the Demonic Origin, The Demon God's Legacy, and the Demon God's Heart. After successfully "killing" the Demon God, Lady Seraph sealed all of the Constellations of Evil by sacrificing her own Divinity.
However, after Bauli's defeat by the gods, he would find the Demonic sea and craft the Ten Thousand Demon Core for ultimate power. He would then create a number of vessels to complete the core (Examples being Bael and Oh Kangwoo). Oh Kangwoo would then finish the Ten Thousand Demon Core and use Bauli as its root to keep it together. Unfortunately for Bauli, Oh Kangwoo would open the third door and devour the entire sea(which took him 3 years in the real world); as well as Bauli and Bael.

Deific Essence[]
Deific Essence is an ability granted or earned by gods. Defic Essence is essentially what characterizes a being, such as Oh Kangwoo gaining the essence of voracity due to his behavior being that of a voracious being and gaia getting the essence of motherhood due to her parent-like instincts. Deific Essence is usually an innate quality, but it could be earned through rigorous activity to build one's essence. It had come to be back when Titans had created gods in the very distant past, to grant them the power to interfere with the providence when taking care of the creations. Deific Essence allows one to use Divinity, which is a miracle type of power that can combine with the user's existing skills to make them stronger. However, Divinity is not a power that can be used by itself and only powers up existing abilities.
Oh Kangwoo was able to gain Deific Essence through his 10th awakening and devouring Rakiel, the fallen angel. When he absorbed him, he was awarded with the Deific Essence of Voracity and the title of the God of Lies, before switching to the God of Voracity. Initially, his Deific Essence made him more irrational when faced with any opportunity of gaining power. But he was able to stop this by taming the Flame of Voracity in the Demonic Sea and gaining the title "Ruler of Voracity", which is the essence of Oh Kangwoo's Deific Essence.
- Barrier: An ability all user's of Divinity have, which is an impenetrable barrier that surrounds the user at all times to protect them. The only known ways of breaking through is by having divinity yourself of the same, or stronger, rank or completely overwhelm the user with a power that far exceeds Divinity (such as demonic energy from the Demonic Sea).
- Ability augmentation: One of the most useful skills of having divinity, which allows one to power up existing abilities to a large degree. This power up also hides Oh Kangwoo's demonic energy so well, that even he was fooled that an authority didn't have any demonic energy.
- Incarnation creation: This allows Oh Kangwoo to make an incarnation by giving him or her some of his divinity. This allows Oh Kangwoo to command whoever he has made an incarnation to do anything he wants them to do. The upside to becoming an incarnation is that you gain a massive boost in strength that you otherwise wouldn't have before and gain some of your god's Divinity. Downside is that once you are made an incarnation, it is impossible to make your own Deific Essence. The only known incarnation that Oh Kangwoo has made is Yeong-ju.
- Trait - The Revered: The Player can convert faith directed at ‘Oh Kang-Woo’ into Divinity and absorb it. The Player’s Deific Essence will be promoted once a fixed amount of Divinity has been accumulated.
- Providence Interference: Oh Kangwoo can interfere with the protection that Gaia's system gives to her players and bypass some of its rules that would've applied to any other player.
- Ranks: Deific Essence have ranks that determine how strong a being's Deific Essence is, with 'low' being the lowest rank a being can get and 'Transcendent' being the highest (Which only Titans can attain). Normally, the rank that a being is given is often what said being stays with. But Oh Kangwoo can use the Demon God's Legacy to turn other's faith in him into Divinity and used the Demonic Origin to make achieving the Transcendent rank possible for him. The higher one's rank is, the stronger their Divinity will be.

Law of the Titans[]
After facing Akart, Oh kangwoo ate the crack that lead Akart's sanctuary to Earth. Oh Kangwoo, wanting to prevent the collision between both worlds, ate and absorbed the crack leading to earth. Since the crack is a passageway between worlds, the bridge between the worlds is the "Beginning" of the universe that created everything. So when Oh Kangwoo ate it, he became the new master of the law and the new guardian of earth that Gaia previously had been. The Law of The Titans is essentially the balance of the universe and what keeps it under control.
- Crack Creation = Oh Kangwoo can open cracks to other worlds with no issue and not face any consequences due to becoming the new law.
- Earth's Protection = Oh Kangwoo is now the new protector of Earth that Gaia used to be. Since the earth is protected by Oh Kangwoo, the earth is protected by an impervious shield that no invaders can enter.

- Chaos - Bullet: A Bottom-rank skill of ‘Chaos’, by infusing sacred power and demonic energy on the fingers and launching the energy which creates an explosion, begin nowhere near as strong as Chaos - Burst, it was much better in terms of practicality.
- Chaos - Blaze: An Intermediate-rank skill of 'Chaos', by getting the Flames of Voracity to devour Chaos, which essentially upgrades the Flames of Voracity with the nullifying properties of Chaos. After Oh Kangwoo's battle with the Parasite king, this skill is always active when he uses the Flames of Voracity through their combination.
- Chaos - Yarn: An Intermediate-rank skill of 'Chaos', which is used to turn chaos into the shape of threads. This gives Chaos much more unpredictable movements that are harder to dodge and a wider range to attack.

- Heavenly Dragon Cultivation Technique: (Learned from Kim Si Hoon) Concentrates pure energy (demonic energy, Qi, mana etc) at the abdomen. Can be used to create crystals made from high concentration of pure power.
- Molting: A sub-technique of opening the Doors that involved intentionally letting the Ten Thousand Demon Core run wild and attain great power. Molting was like a failed version of opening the Doors. There was absolutely no merit in molting, a technique close to self-harm but struggling on the borderline of life and death, he had awakened a state of non-self (In martial arts terms, it would be similar to intentionally creating the conditions for reaching enlightenment).
